Quarter finals time and what a strange tournament it has been so far… highs, lows and upsets you’d never forecast – I guess it is the World Cup and anything can and usually does happen.

Although Australasia failed to make it though the group stages, we can still hold our heads high and be proud of our teams. New Zealand having not lost a game, and Australia; after a humiliating 4-0 thumping by Germany, somewhat redeemed themselves with strong performances against Ghana and Serbia.

Only 8 teams left and it is now the business end of the tournament. Likewise for the RADAR World Cup Tipping Comp with only 2 points separating First and Fourth position with 7 games to go! My advice for those playing catch up is take your chances on an outsider… I’m sure there are more upsets to come!
